Built with the most powerful engine in our line-up, the Gladiator is built from the ground up to offer unmatched safety, strength and performance. The spacious cab interior of the Spartan Gladiator provides maximum room for crew members, equipment and storage.
Flat floors, low step heights and taller, wider cab doors allow firefighters to get in and out quickly at the scene. The Spartan raised roof extends over the driver and officer, making it easier to maneuver within the cab. We offer an optional optimized engine tunnel to increase hip room for the driver and officer, along with the rear-facing crew seats, while also giving more floor space to the rear crew members.

Most Spacious Cab
The Gladiator cab offers the most room available with ergonomic designs for improved visibility and maximum flat floor space. In addition, an optimized engine tunnel is optional for more driver and officer hip room.
Enhanced Maneuverability
With our engine placement forward of the front axle, we offer superior turning radius and cramp angles up to 53 degrees. We offer a high approach angle that far exceeds NFPA 1900 standards.
Forward Cab Roof Design
All raised-roof applications include forward-roof protection that extends over the driver and officer seating, offering more headroom and better line of sight.

High Angle-of-Approach Bumper
This bumper gives the ultimate angle of approach for navigating a high angle of approach for steep obstacles in extreme situations.
High Air Intake
Spartan’s heavy-duty high air intake mitigates the risk with fewer connections and places the air filter and ember separator above the radiator and turbo connection. Air filter replacement can be done easily with basic tools and without compromising the clean side of the intake system.
Oil Fill and Checks
Spartan pioneered the tilt grille for checking oil fluids, without having to tilt the cab.
